Privacy Policy of the Yeloo mobile application dedicated to the Google Play application store
Who is responsible for processing your data or that of your child on the Yeloo application?
Alexandre Salet, whose contact details are published on the Google Play page of the Yeloo application, is responsible for processing the personal data that may be collected and processed in the context of the use of the Yeloo mobile application running on Android.
What data is collected and why is it collected?
Yeloo collects personal data about you or your child for the strict use of the internal needs of the application and the billing of the services offered. No personal data outside this framework is transmitted to a third party for commercial purposes.
Three personal data profiles govern the operation of Yeloo:
- Administrator profile (parent or guardian or supervisor of the end user of the application): in this context, Yeloo collects and uses, for the needs of the application, your photo, your name, your first name, your date of birth, your pseudonym, your mobile phone number, your landline number and your email address. This information is used to identify you in the application, to send you an email if you have forgotten your administrator code, so that the end user can contact you by phone or send you messages.
- Member profile (end user of the application): this is the person who will use Yeloo. In this context, the application collects and uses their photo, their name, their first name, their pseudonym and their date of birth. This information is used to identify the member connected to the application. Their date of birth is required to determine their age and offer default content adapted to them.
- Contact Profile (people that the administrator references in the application so that the member can contact them): in this context, Yeloo collects the photo, name, first name, pseudonym, date of birth, mobile phone number, landline number and email address of the contact to be contacted by phone or message.
The information in these three profiles can be modified and deleted at any time by the Yeloo administrator.
This information is never transmitted to a third party and is used exclusively for the needs of the application.
Yeloo being an operating system, in order to function, the application needs to access certain data from your phone. This concerns the following data and permissions:
- Telephony:
Access to telephony functions: so that the member can make phone calls
Read-only access to contacts: necessary for filtering incoming phone calls
Main role for displaying the calling number: necessary for filtering incoming phone calls
- Multimedia:
Access to the camera: so that you can take a photo to associate it with an administrator, a member or a contact
Access to files: so that you can associate a photo from your gallery with an administrator, a member or a contact
- System:
Collection of installed applications: so that you can decide which applications can be used by the member in Yeloo
- Verification of the Internet connection status:
In order to propose actions based on the status of your internet connection
- Internet access:
In order to be able to send a new administrator code to an administrator who has forgotten theirs
- Access to the screen standby :
Disabling the screen standby mode if necessary for the proper functioning of certain processes
- Closing third-party applications opened from Yeloo:
In order to guarantee the opening of applications that would be locked by the administrator
Finally, for strictly analytical purposes, the application collects for Yeloo's needs all possible technical errors and the identifiers of the devices that have installed the application.
With whom is this data shared?
In order to be able to provide and provide all the services described above, access to some of your data or that of your child must be made possible to the following parties:
- The staff who manage the Yeloo application
- Google via Google Play
How long is this data retained?
The retention period of your data or that of your child depends on the purpose for which it is collected and processed. Yeloo only retains your personal data or that of your child in a form that allows you or your child to be identified for the period strictly necessary for the purposes explained above.
The determination of the retention period of the personal data referred to above is most often based on the following two criteria: an inactivity criterion such as the date of the last contact established with you or your child on the one hand; the applicable legal limitation periods on the other hand.
Finally, some of your data or that of your child may be retained if this is necessary for Yeloo to meet its legal obligations or to exercise, defend or assert its rights.
What are your rights over your data or that of your child and how can you exercise them?
You and your child have the right to access, rectify, erase, limit, oppose and port your data or that of your child, as well as to define guidelines on their fate after your death, within the limits and conditions provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act and case law.
